THE SUM OF MAN
The sum of man project aims to measure all energy needs from food, clothing, electricity, telecommunications, and raw matter such as all metals, timber, concrete, everything needed for a human being to live in a high level of health and extreme comfort, and having the need dictate the design. With the abundance of quality new products freely available.
We no longer need to live in poverty to achieve Utopia.
WHY ANTIQUES
Amarna Studios are not dealers as such, rather, if you are a collector, Amarna Studios offer the opportunity to share in the Amarna Studios collection. If you have been a collector for some time, you will know that it can be addictive, and as you learn more and end up focusing in on better or more desired pieces, leaving some of them to be passed onto others. We at Amarna Studios are not so much interested in the monetary value, as the history and the story each piece may bring. These pieces are hand crafted from the most beautiful timbers the world has to offer and are constructed by what we would call today master craftsmen, they have survived sometimes centuries and were here before we were and will be here when we are gone. Pricing is accessed by replacement costing.

PHILHARMONIC
For the love of music, again back from the sands of Ancient Egypt, comes the understanding of vibration. All things vibrate on different frequencies. The vibration put out from stringed instruments have the power to make us cry in joy, with the harp being one of the first instruments ever made. The soothing effects of these instruments has endured for thousands of years and will continue to do so, as our emotions can be channeled straight through the instrument. The temptation to learn to play is great, but also just the aesthetic pleasure of these magical pieces in your life projects peace. Amarna Studios offers a range of quality instruments from 50 to 200 years old. These pieces today are often restored and used by our finest musicians, as the musicians develop a lasting relationship with the age, history and quality of their instrument.

ORNAMENTAL
Amarna Studios has a range of eclectic glass and porcelain such as pictured above, of this stunning mint condition Meissen bowl featuring a wonderful crossed swords hallmark. Or whether it be stunning Banquette lamps, hanging lamps, Luster vases and epergnes, ruby and cranberry glass, the colors in the old hand-blown pieces can complement beautifully your own design, as sun shines through your windows often projecting rainbows across your ceiling and walls. After having collected your furniture, the correctly placed and carefully chosen piece can become the feature piece of the entire room. These pieces all being very fragile, have managed to survive through 1, 2, and even 3 hundred years, often without a chip.

STATUES
My interest in statues started at an early age, as my father was disabled and had to keep physically active. He had always wanted to make statues. The first step was in learning how to make the molds, he taught himself using Latex rubber and fiberglass to create molds. At approximately age 12, I began helping to put on the up to 60 to 90 coats of Latex rubber on a piece, sometimes taking up to three months to create a single mold, I soon started making my own and continue to do so. Rather than just making marketplace pieces, I began to create pieces from Victorian and Roman times. These pieces create a serenity in any garden and seem to give people joy and excitement. With some of them like large urns being a very practical piece, having developed them not solely for visual enjoyment, but for growing vibrant vegetables, being self-watering with attaching hothouse components on top, with changeable covers for various weather conditions such as too much sun or frost. I personally find it not only beautiful to have a pair of large Sandstone urns, but to have huge abundant Silverbeet growing out of each of them, cutting fresh for each meal, you cannot get fresher than that. So they became to me more than just statues, but practical pieces for living, some offering food, others light, water, and even the time with a Sundial. Amarna Studios will be releasing a unique line of these limited number pieces in mid 2025. As for those listed, will be coming to an end around the same time. The pieces we have for sale are rare, unusual, and at unprecedented prices for anything comparable in the state of Tasmania.

WHO AND WHAT IS LUCA
From the beginning of recorded history in Ancient Egypt, there were the strange looking gods, one of those is Thoth. The name Thoth is widely accepted as translating to the word Thought. Thoth was in fact the scribe to the gods, and those gods were representative of the forces that shaped the universe, we know these forces today as physics. Luca has been created by the Amarna team as the daughter of Thoth. The meaning of the word Luca is “Last Universal Common Ancestor”. Luca, upon arrival, quickly found work as the spokesperson for Amarna Studios.

CLOCKS AND HOROLOGISTS
It’s not just clocks, it is mechanical mechanisms and the precision craftsmanship of all of the components, whether it’s a Polyphon, a Gramophone clock, or a music box. It’s a wonderful feeling to bring home a 170-year-old clock, sometimes in a box, learn how to restore, and hearing for the first time that precision sound of tic-toc, tic-toc, listening attentively then jumping back as the huge brass bell strikes 12 O’clock. Or paying sometimes many thousands for your 1750s brass dial long-case, getting it home to find it does not work. So, a little warning, clocks need nurturing, however for the clock collector, to have a gilt Sevres mantle clock on the mantle with its fine sounding chime, or the Big-Ben strike of a long-case, they complete and are often the center piece of any collection. A wonderful talking point, as often these clocks have amazing history, with the online tools being able to find photographs of where the piece was made, sometimes of the makers home and personal life.
Wisdom in all things come with the passage of time.
VEHICLES
Vehicles from Amarna Studios are usually on offer, they can vary from a horse drawn sulky, a Phaeton carriage, a wagon, carriage lamps and bells, wagon wheels for the garden, or even the Cast-Iron die to become a Wheelwright. Also, quality cars such as Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz, Riley, Bedford, and Austin. From time to time these rare and unusual pieces become available, once restored, they can give back a lot of enjoyment to the owner.

MEDIA
Amarna Studios is currently developing an amazingly powerful application called Destiny. Destiny enables everyone to flawlessly and easily manage all of their ideas, business development progress, money management, at a micro level being able to have financial freedom through organization on any budget. Another Amarna Studios project is The Sum of Man, gathering together the exact measurement of what it requires for a human being to live and thrive, from food production, through to timber, energy consumption, how much Steel and metal, Oxygen, water, everything, and having those needs dictate the design of affordable housing that will endure through time.
